MY
STORY
I began my career as a Marketing Assistant at UCI Business School during my sophomore year, where I worked on event photography, website content, and showcasing MBA programs. It sparked my interest in branding and gave me a foundation in marketing.
After graduating, I returned to Yangon and joined hospitality groups like BreadTalk Inc. and RTH Hospitality Group, managing marketing for high-end restaurants and bakeries. As Marketing Manager, I oversaw brand touchpoints across online and offline platforms, presenting the brands as modern and sophisticated.
My passion for hospitality led me to Areca, a boutique hotel startup. I joined a small team overseeing an 80-room construction project. Though I started as an accountant, I soon co-designed rooms and the lobby, managed subcontractors, and helped launch the hotel.
These experiences shaped my design-forward, guest-centric approach, blending branding, operations, and business strategy to build compelling and memorable experiences.
